So, I'm in Chicago for work. I have a new employee, and her name is Courtney. She's pretty cool, but also very new to the company. So, since my boss has decided that we (my immediate boss Brian and I) must travel at least 3 days per week, I decided to come and train Courtney. Chicago really is "My Kind of Town". I fucking love it here. The only downer is the traffic - oh, and the fact that it drops to negative digits in the hellacious wintertime! Brrrrrrrrrr! (I was here once with JAB on the week of my birthday, and it was negative 17 degrees!! 17 fucking degrees below Zero!! WTF?!) On the plus side? These midwestern men are HOT!! It just boggles the mind. I swear I have whiplash! I met a particularly hot man yesterday named Christopher - but that is a story for another time! (Damn, I love kissing until my lips are sore!)
On another good note, my Mom is out of the hospital again and is home resting comfortably! She called to tell me (but I already knew as my brother Brad had called to tell me), and let me know that she slept for 11 hours! She definitely needed it - there's always so much going on in the hospital that you can never get any rest! I'll be heading to see her this weekend!
My current lease is up in March 2011, and I'm trying to decide where to head. If I stay in the Baltimore area, I'll probably (hopefully) move to Towson - in a rowhome down the street from Suzanne. Other choices are: Chicago, Austin, Los Angeles, or San Francisco. I love all of these cities for different reasons. Chicago is amazing in so many ways - but the downside is the winter weather! Austin is the ONLY saving grace of the state of Texas. It's beautiful - an oasis in a state of Blaaah. And the men are H-O-T.... Los Angeles is pretty cool. Ok, it's a vapid soul-sucking place. But, there's great neighborhoods, and I'd have the support system of Ken and Ed, as well as Kista and Carla to keep me grounded, sane and laughing. (and I'd avoid West Hollywood like the plague!) San Fran also is GORGEOUS, and my friends Thomas and Brian are there. Ken says it's a horrible place to live as the gay men they are all materialistic and suffer from first degree assholism. After my last visit there, I'm inclined to believe that. I'm not really sure yet where I'll end up, but I intend to spend the winter thinking about it in depth.
Tomorrow is friday, so Happy Weekend Everyone!! XOXO Enjoy some Eye Candy for the weekend!!
