Is there a word for how much it sucks to prep for a Move?? Because I wanna use it!

This definitely has to be THE suckiest week of my life! I've been heading to work, packing when I get home to all hours of the night and throwing away stuff I had NO idea why I kept it!! Then waking up REALLY early to head to the gym to work out with my trainer (who I LOVE, but that's another story) and then back to work. So now, on top of that, I woke up yesterday with a head-cold thingy. Now, it's draining down into my chest. I am a fucking train wreck right now - definitely NOT at my hottest! LOL. So, next time I move - and hopefully that will be a LONG time from now - the movers I hire will also PACK UP EVERYTHING I OWN! Amen.

Great News!! I passed my GIA exams!

I can now add the title "A.J.P." to my business cards. It means I'm an Accredited Jewelry Professional. I'm pretty stoked! Excuse me while I go pat myself on the back!

Hump Day....

Tonight, my work-related dinner was a surprise. They never tell you where it is - just that it's off-site. We had "dinner" at a place called "The Cloisters". It was gorgeous, and VERY gothic. It was nice to get all dressed up, and to see everyone else all dressed up. The big bummer though was the choices of food - 3 things only. I'm a very picky eater. I have to be. I'm lactose intolerant, and I don't eat red meat. So, the choices were cheeseburger sliders, shrimp pasta, and a creamy chicken pot pie. *sigh* So, I basically drank my dinner. They took us there in 4 buses - in rainy, rush-hour traffic - and when the first bus was ready to leave to take us back into the city, I jumped on it! (despite it being only 9pm!) I am STARVING! And since I'm moving, I have limited food in my place - so Peanut butter and Jelly it is! Now take a gander at what I'm REALLY hungry for....

Monday is the worst day....

Ok, so maybe not THE worst, but it's never fun to wake up monday morning, and realize you have to start the work week all over again. Especially after you got your ass kicked the week before in an intensive learning course at the GIA! Another VERY busy week this week - our National Sales Conference kicks off tomorrow morning at 9am! I might be M.I.A. for a few days - so here's some "hotness" to keep you happy!

California Blogging....

Hey Everyone! I'm in San Diego this week, taking classes at the GIA: the Gemological Institute of America! If you've never been to San Diego, you should come. It's beautiful! The weather has been pretty amazing this week as well. I'm in a class of 19 others from PANDORA, and we're all taking a 9 month course that's been condensed into 1 week! Yowza! Our instructor is great! (and hysterical, and sweet) I've even had time to bond with my co-workers. It's been great. Tomorrow is our final: we have 3 one-hour exams, 50 questions each! Yikes. So, we have tonight to study. I'm armed with post-it notes, and a green highlighter, and a determination to go through all 3 textbooks tonight! (despite the fact that I'm blogging right now and neglecting my studies! But I had to let you know I'm still alive, just in "study mode" right now!)

I Wanna Do Bad Things to You....

I love the show "True Blood". I freaking LOVE it! The story lines are great, and the actors are pretty near perfect at their characters. My favorites on the show - no surprise here - are Eric Northman, the sexy blond Nordic Vampire (played by the perfect Alexander Skaarsgard), and Alcide Herveaux (the beautiful and hunky - and mostly shirtless - Joe Manganiello). Neither of them has a problem being naked in some form, and for that I am quite grateful! Season 4 doesn't start again until June, but the season 3 DVD set should be out sometime in early May. I am going through withdrawal!! When season 2 came out on DVD, I watched the entires season in 3 days! I got literally NO sleep, but it was worth it!

After a long work week, I need to see some hotness....

Friday on my Mind....

It's FRIDAY!! Hope everyone is ready for a GREAT weekend! Mine is only going to be friday night throught saturday, as I have to fly to San Diego on sunday morning. (I know, BOO HOO for me, right?? LOL) I am cautiously excited. Excited because I love the San Diego area, but cautious because I'm headed there to take a course at the GIA headquarters. What's GIA, you ask? It stands for Gemological Institute of America. If all goes well, and I pass the test, I'll be a registered Gemologist. That means it "ups my street cred" in the world of jewelry. If anyone of you know me, you know that I HATE schoolwork and tests. HATE IT. So, I'm praying that I don't embarass myself and fail. The bonus though is that I'll be in Calfornia - and how can you hate that? 70 degrees all week? YES, please! Wish me luck!
