Just flew home tonight from Charlotte, NC (where I was for work), and I just knew that our flight home would suck. I could feel it in my bones. The weather was rainy, and the clouds were low - so you could just tell it was not going to be smooth. And I was right! It was a pretty bumpy ascent, but once we broke through all 3 levels of clouds, it actually wasn't too bad - for about half of the way home. Then we started to descend, and it was AWFUL! The flight attendants were trying to act calm while they were going down the aisle, but they were gripping the seat backs with white knuckles. It was one of the few times that I've felt sick to my stomach while we were flying. My heart was racing, and sometimes I think that actually helps me not to get sick. But I made it home. I'll be able to sleep in my own bed for almost 2 straight weeks!! That is amazing!
