Random "Beach" Hotness....

Pray for me that I find some of this....for me!

It's finally (FINALLY) here! I am officially on vacation as of today at 5:30pm! I don't have to return to work - or even think about it - until Monday, July 2nd! I leave tomorrow morning for the drive to Rehoboth Beach - a beautiful little beach town on the coast of lower Delaware. I'll be staying with my friends Ken and Ed - who are flying in from Los Angeles, and with "B" - a lovely old friend of Ed's. (she's hysterical). It will be a week filled with days on the beach, LOTS of drinks, and laughing to the point where you have to leave the room because your stomach hurts so badly. I can't wait! I need this. I deserve this. Posting will probably be crappy until I'm back and can share photos with you. I'll try my best to at least slip something in while I'm away.

Working for the Weekend...

I can NOT wait for this weekend to come! I will officially be on vacation, and I am heading back to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware with my friends from Los Angeles! We had a great time last year, and I very much need to break! We'll be laughing our asses off most of the week when we're not sunning ourselves on the beach, going to happy hour, sleeping in, or just having fun. Last year was so much fun that I didn't want to leave when the week was over. Let's hope this year is just as fun. Come on Saturday!

Working from home this week....

So, I finally got an appointment with the doctor yesterday - my new doctor, and friend of one of my best friends - and he informed me that I have Adult Chicken Pox, which are also known by the unfortunate name of "Shingles". I am itchy, and my back feels like it's being stabbed by hundreds of pins. It also feels hot. It's annoying, it's disgusting, and I can't wait for it to go away. So, because it's contagious to people who've never had Chicken Pox as a child, I cannot work in my office. One of my co-workers is pregnant also, so I have to stay away from her until I am finished with the drugs. (which will be sunday) So, I will go back to my office next monday, but until then I am working from home. I always thought working from home would be fun and relaxing. It's really not. The only bonus is being able to watch TV while I am eating breakfast and during lunch. I think by Friday, I will be getting cabin fever!

Ugh, Thursday already?!

Where did this week go? It moved so fast! Don't get me wrong, that's a good thing. Especially today, when a co-worker had a meltdown and cried, cursed and slammed her phone down ALL DAY LONG!! I have to visit some of our stores tomorrow, monday, tuesday and wednesday - so I am grateful to be able to get out from behind my desk! That makes me very happy. And now that the weekend is almost here - I'm REALLY happy! Thank God it's Thursday! T.E.A.M. Fitness tomorrow morning at 6am! I know I'm a perv, but the locker room always brightens my day before work!
